We were initially confused what to call this wedding package and originally were going to go all out and call it the ‘crazy package.’ After much consultation however our team settled on the name “The Light wedding’ due to its inexpensiveness. The wedding venue and the International airport, is located on the breathtaking Hulhumale Island, so getting to the resort is very simple.
Just like the film, the package works like this:
All you need to do is get legally married in Maldives in your chosen city anywhere in the world, then take a taxi cab from your Civil Office (still dressed in your wedding dress and tuxedo) to the local airport, and fly to the Maldives directly. How many people can do this for their wedding the idea itself is very off the wall! After you pass immigration control, The Seven's wedding manager will meet you with some surprise (also a bit crazy) and bring you directly to the previously prepared wedding venue on a beautiful, tropical ,white sand private beach. We don't know how far your civil office is from the Maldives, but we know exactly that distance between your legal marriage and unforgettable celebration is just duration of your flight!
After the official part of the event is done, if you want, you can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with any type of alcoholic drinks, and special entertainment laid on for you by the wedding team.
Note: The light wedding option is not exclusively for "crazy couples" but also for those couples who are on the way to/from any resort, and wish to experience a high quality wedding ceremony with professional photographers, make-up artists, decorations, entertainment and many other components.
